Shepherd's Center Supporters

Financial support is critical to the success and future growth of the Shepherd's Center of Oakton-Vienna.  While program activities are supported through volunteer efforts, there are administrative expenses which are ongoing.  The Shepherd's Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and contributions are tax-deductible up to the limit established by the IRS.

Funding is obtained from individuals, sponsoring congregations, businesses, civic organizations, and Adventures in Learning (AIL) tuition.  A copy of our annual report is available upon request or may be viewed online (PDF format).

Planned giving is a convenient way to leave a lasting legacy for future generations.  You create a living memorial to demonstrate your commitment to helping older individuals in your community live independently in their own home environment.  Consider including a bequest to the Shepherd's Center of Oakton-Vienna in your will or trust.  Another option is to name SCOV as a beneficiary of a retirement account or life insurance policy.  Your financial advisor or attorney can discuss your options to determine the best plan for you.

We appreciate the generosity of all who lend their spiritual and financial support to this ministry, as well as provide facilities for programs and meetings.
