Shepherd'sCenter Supporters
• Financial support is critical to the success of the Shepherd's Center of Oakton-Vienna. While program activities are supported through volunteer efforts, there are administrative expenses which are ongoing. Future growth depends on the support of individuals, congregations and organizations in our community. Both monetary and in-kind contributions are welcomed.
• Funding is obtained from individuals, sponsoring congregations, business and civic organizations, and Adventures in Learning (AIL) tuition. A copy of our annual report is available upon request or may be viewed online (PDF format).
How You Can Become A Supporter:
With an annual donation of $35.00 or more an individual may become a Supporter of the Shepherd's Center. Contributions are tax-deductible and several gift levels are available:
Friend Donor Contributor Sponsor Advocate
$35.00 $50.00 $100.00 $250.00 $500.00
• Planned giving is a convenient way to leave a lasting legacy for future generations. You create a living memorial to demonstrate your commitment to helping older individuals in your community live independently in their own home environment. Consider including a bequest to the Shepherd's Center of Oakton-Vienna in your will or trust. Another option is to name SCOV as a beneficiary of a retirement account or life insurance policy. Your financial advisor or attorney can discuss your options to determine the best plan for you.
