Carol has been with the Shepherd's Center since July 2006. A graduate of Catholic University with a Masters degree in Social Work, she has worked for AARP, the American Cancer Society, and the National Center on Elder Abuse. She has been a consultant to the National Citizens Coalition on Nursing Home Reform (NCCNHR) and the D.C. Office on Aging. Carol has also been a volunteer with the Arlington Learning in Retirement Institute (ALRI). She enjoys playing the piano, walking, and reading. |

Sandy has been at the Shepherd's Center since 2004. She has a master's degree in counseling and spent many years working in the bereavement field. Sandy has two daughters, and enjoys gardening and yard sales. | "The word "senior" has taken on a wonderful new meaning." |
