Before joining the Shepherd's Center staff in 2008, Michelle worked for Fairfax County Public Schools for ten years. Michelle is a graduate of George Washington University with a Masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. She is very involved with many community organizations, including Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, Vienna Historical Society, and Fairfax County Public Schools, to name a few. Michelle lives in Vienna with her family, and enjoys gardening, reading and volunteering. |
JayneYoung Office Manager
| Jayne is a native Northern Virginian and has been active in her community for many years. Her volunteer activities include PTA president, cub scout leader, community association president, fund raiser for various local causes, president and newsletter editor of a local women's group and a variety of volunteer jobs at her church. Before joining the Shepherd's Center staff in 2010, Jayne was a small business owner for 24 years, a legal administrator, a project manager for a PR/Communications firm, and an event planner. Jayne lives in Oakton, VA with her husband, Joe, in their empty nest. Their 3 sons all live locally and visit often!! |
MaryMaldonado Volunteer Coordinator
| Before joining the Shepherd’s Center staff in 2010, Mary was retired for three years from the Federal Communications Commission where she was Deputy Budget Chief. She was a federal employee for 25 years. Mary was a volunteer for Shepherd’s Center for one year before accepting the position as Volunteer Coordinator. She is treasurer of her HOA and enjoys Shakespeare Theatre, VA Opera, music and gardening. Mary resides in Oakton with her dog, Phyllis Diller. |
